How offline mode works

The Kontafico POS automatically detects when it loses internet connectivity and activates offline mode. You can continue selling normally; transactions are saved locally in the browser.

When connectivity is restored, the system automatically syncs all pending sales without manual intervention.

Sales pending synchronization

Sales made offline appear with a "Pending sync" status in the sales panel. You can see how many transactions are waiting to be processed in the indicator on the POS top bar.

Each offline sale is recorded with date, time, products, amounts, and payment method to ensure correct shift closing.

When synchronization happens

Synchronization occurs automatically as soon as the device regains internet connectivity. You can also trigger it manually from POS → Pending sales → Sync now.

The sync process runs in the background; you can keep selling while previous transactions are being processed.

Limitations of offline mode

Offline mode cannot issue electronic receipts or invoices to the DGT while there is no internet, as issuance requires real-time communication with Hacienda servers.

Electronic documents are issued automatically upon sync. Until then, the document remains pending.

  • No real-time DGT electronic documents
  • Cannot fetch updated prices if the price list changed
  • New products added while disconnected do not appear in offline mode

Sell even without internet

The Kontafico POS is designed for unstable connectivity environments. Included in all plans.
